OpenXR LIVE : Seattle Meetup and Mixer
Are you interested in developing cross-platform VR, AR, MR and other spatial computing and immersive experiences and networking with other XR professionals? If so, then you are invited to join Khronos at our Seattle OpenXR Meetup and Mixer.
The meetup is FREE to attend (registration is required) and will include the latest updates on the OpenXR specification, implementations, applications and the wider ecosystem as well as talks from developers who will share their experience using the API, plus presentations from local XR community leaders. Perhaps most importantly, there will be plenty of time to mix with fellow developers while checking out some of the latest devices, applications and demos. EVENT SUPPORTERS
Working with the Seattle XR Community
The Khronos Group is honoured to be working with the following meetup groups, chapters and educators who do amazing work to grow, educate and connect the Seattle XR community, including the Seattle VR Meetup and Facebook Groups, Bellevue XR Lab, Northwest XR Edu and the Seattle Chapter of the VRAR Association. All have helped us reach out and engage with XR developers and we thank them for their support and encouragement.
OpenXR: Solving XR Fragmentation
OpenXR is the royalty-free, open standard from the Khronos Group that provides a common set of APIs for developing XR applications that run across a wide range of AR and VR devices. This reduces the time and cost required for developers to adapt solutions to individual XR platforms while also creating a larger market of easily supported applications for device manufacturers that adopt OpenXR.
