Standardizing Body Attachment Points for 3D Commerce Virtual Try On

  • Presenter: Patrick Hadley, Snap
  • In today's rapidly evolving digital landscape, virtual try-on (VTO) has emerged as a new frontier for the retail industry. Creating digital clones of your products in AR offers customers an immersive and interactive way to evaluate your products. VTO capabilities are evolving the digital shopping experience from 'Does this look good?' to 'Does this look good ON ME?'. Currently, a lack of consistent standards has caused challenges in both accurate placement and interoperability of assets across companies. This panel will present newly proposed glTF extensions associated with eyewear, footwear, and jewelry, while further discussing challenges around 3D apparel.

Q&A session will be held after the presentation.
