IWOCL & SYCLcon 2023 Agenda Released

The agenda for IWOCL & SYCLcon 2023 has been announced! This premier event dedicated to developers using the OpenCL and SYCL APIs will take place in beautiful Cambridge, UK on April 18-20, 2023. It is a unique technical event bringing the developer community together to exchange ideas, solve problems and help steer the future development of the OpenCL and SYCL ecosystems. Early bird pricing is available until the end of March.

Khronos Releases OpenCL 3.0.7 alongside growing OpenCL 3.0 Adoption at IWOCL Conference

Today, at the 9th International Workshop for OpenCL (IWOCL and SYCLcon 2021) Khronos has released the OpenCL 3.0.7 specifications, with a number of new extensions for extended bit-level operations, new queries for suggested local work group size and PCI device information, and enhanced SPIR-V support for debugging and linking. OpenCL 3.0 was released in September 2020 and Imagination, Intel and NVIDIA are already shipping conformant implementations. Codeplay and SYCL at IWOCL 2018

IWOCL 2018 - The 6th International Workshop on OpenCL

Announcing that the 6th International Workshop on OpenCL will take place on the 14-16 May, 2018 at St Catherine's College, Oxford, UK and that the Call for Submissions is now open. Submissions related to any aspect of using OpenCL (including SYCL, Vulkan Compute and OpenCL based libraries) are of interest, including (but not limited to): case-studies of their use in applications, software tools, programming methods, debugging, performance analysis, and integration.

The deadline for IWOCL 2016 submissions has been extended to Friday 12th February, giving everyone a couple of extra weeks to pull their abstracts together. There will be no further extensions.

IWOCL 2016 – Call for Papers

Now in its fourth year, the International Workshop on OpenCL will be held in Vienna, Austria, at the C3 Convention Center on April 19-21. April 19th is reserved for an Advanced Hands On OpenCL tutorial with April 20th – 21st consisting of a mix of keynotes, academic papers, technical presentations, tutorials and poster sessions. We are inviting high-quality submissions in four categories: Full Academic Papers; Technical Presentations; Tutorials; Posters.
